- Summary
- Artist's statement: "This book was a Christmas present for Theodore (whom I was experimentally nicknaming "Thermadore"). Then we were dating, now we are married. I made this book to show him how beautiful he is and also what a joyous like he was living. I mean, even though we were living these experiences, I wanted to reset his self-concept. But it also simply captures the first year of our relationship; those early skeptical looks. Him smoking in the car, which he doesn't do anymore! The opening quote is excerpted from his first email to me. The ending is when we took a Bollywood dance class and performed at a Diwali concert; it was a stretch for both of us but for him it was inconceivable. Love really reset both of our self-concepts."
