- Summary
- Project Bolo records and documents individual profiles of LGBT persons who have, in their own way, stood up for what they believed in and challenged norms and stereotypes loaded on them by the society. A friendship to remember - Dalip Daswani, a ceramic designer and Giti Thadani, an iconographer and writer - were two of the few 'out' persons actively involved with the Red Rose Group, the earliest non-formal gay & lesbian group to be formed in India, way back in the early 90s. Later Dalip worked with the Naz Foundation, while Giti started Sakhi Collective, the first lesbian organization in India. Both of them believe in speaking out their mind and both treasure their solitude.
