- "I have made self portaits and used myself as a subject for drawing and photography over many years. However photos of male nude especially frontal, were not widely exhibited when I first began photography during the late 1940's. After the liberated attitudes of the late 1960's I eventually took photos of male models, friends and mostly myself fo rthe majority of my work. . .
