About the author: When I was fifteen I promised myself that someday I would live in New York. I had just seen Annie Hall for ht first time. I grew up in Baltimore and right after college I kept my promise and moved to Manhattan. I thought my adult life would be like a Woody Allen movie but it hasn't turned out that way, probably for the best. Still, I love the city, especially my neighborhood, the Lower East Side. I like to go out and listen to music, eat in restaurants cheap and fancy, and walk around.
Revisits the lives of high-schoolers Holly, Lina, and Mads as they wonder about slowing down their searches for the right boys, and as Holly's boyfriend Sean offers her friend Mads more than the driving lessons he promised.
