- Summary
- A collection of 108 antique intaglio seal impressions housed in book form. A few may be Roman, but nearly all are 18th century products in classic style done by Pichler and others. Many of them have common mythological motifs, like Leda and the swan and satyrs; disembodied genitalia feature prominently. Housed in a false book; the front and back coverss open to reveal the seals. On the spine, in gilt lettering, is written "Paoletti Impronte Gemme Antiche Classiche".
